Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced Product Safety & Conformity Representative (PSCR) to support our organization on an on-call or contractual basis. The role is required only when requested by customers (OEMs or Tier suppliers) and does not involve daily operational work.

The PSCR acts as the official contact person for product safety and regulatory conformity in accordance with VDA and OEM requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the nominated PSCR according to VDA requirements
• Ensure product safety and regulatory conformity of supplied products
• Review and assess product safety risks and conformity topics
• Support customer and OEM requests related to PSCR nomination, audits, or documentation
• Participate in customer meetings, audits, or escalation cases when required
• Advise internal teams on product safety, compliance, and OEM-specific requirements
• Support analysis and handling of product safety incidents or complaints

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive quality, product safety, or compliance
• Valid VDA PSCR qualification (mandatory)
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA standards, and OEM requirements
• Experience working with OEMs or automotive suppliers
• Good understanding of risk management and product safety processes
• Ability to work independently and on an on-call basis

Nice to Have:

• Background as Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or Compliance Specialist
• Knowledge of functional safety such as ISO 26262
• Previous PSCR nomination accepted by an OEM

Engagement Model:

• On-call or as-needed engagement
• No fixed working hours
• Engagement triggered by customer or OEM request
• Suitable for external consultants or freelance specialists
