                                     Site Warehouse Operator (SWO)

a. Job Highlights:

The SWO supports logistics and inventory operations at the AHFS. Working under the supervision of the Site Warehouse Manager, this role ensures accurate handling, storage, and distribution of aviation parts, tools, and supplies critical to helicopter maintenance and flight training.

b. Key Responsibilities:

1) Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of components and supplies.

2) Store items in designated locations following military safety and inventory protocols.

3) Issue tools, parts, and equipment to maintenance personnel based on work orders and requisitions.

4) Maintain accurate inventory records using military logistics systems and software.

5) Conduct routine stock checks and assist with inventory audits.

6) Package and prepare items for shipment or transfer to other units or field sites.

7) Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.

8) Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to the Warehouse Manager.

9) Assist in maintaining a clean, organiSed, and secure warehouse environment.

10) Support deployment readiness by assembling supply kits and mobile logistics packs.

c. Threshold Conditions:

1) Basic military logistics or warehouse operations training (e.g., MOS 92Y or equivalent).
2) Familiarity with aviation supply systems and maintenance support (preferred).
3) Experience with inventory management software or military supply databases.
4) Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.
5) Eligibility for security clearance to handle restricted materials.
6) Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
7) Dependable and disciplined work ethic.
8) Ability to follow instructions and work within a structured chain of command.
9) Good communication and teamwork skills.
10) Commitment to safety and operational readiness.
11) English proficiency level – B2
